Schoolboy stabbed at Whitstable recreation ground

A 14-year-old boy has been airlifted to hospital after reportedly being stabbed at  a Whitstable recreation ground.

Eye witnesses report the boy was injured in a fight with other children on Westmeads recreation ground  today.

The extent of his injuries is  not yet known.

A large crowd of children gathered at the site and police are at the scene.
