RYMAN LEAGUE PREMIER DIVISION
Maidstone United v Sutton United
With both sides locked on 19 points in mid-table, tonight’s game is crucial as a win could lift the Stones into the Ryman Premier play-off places.
Saturday’s 2-1 reverse at Harrow was Maidstone’s third defeat in their last four league games, while Sutton’s last outing saw them knocked out of the Championship Manager Cup by Horsham seven days ago.
Tonbridge Angels v Hendon
Having won of their last six matches in all competitions, Angels are flying while Hendon are kept out of the relegation places only by goal difference.
Tommy Warrilow’s side have scored 16 goals in the their last four outings, with Liam Harwood’s debut strike at Kingstonian making him the eighth different scorer of the run.
Waltham Abbey v Margate
The postponement of Saturday’s game at home to Wealdstone means manager Mark Butler continues his interminable wait to take charge of Margate at Hartsdown Park.
Results elsewhere meant Butler’s side dropped into the bottom four and tonight’s game is huge, with Waltham immediately above them – clear of the drop zone by just one goal.
Wealdstone v Cray Wanderers
The form of both sides suggests a home win is the only feasible outcome, with Cray winless in seven and Wealdstone boasting the league’s joint best defence.
Cray must hope the Stones, whose only defeat in 19 matches was inflicted by Rotherham United, have one eye on Saturday’s FA Trophy tie at Farnborough.
RYMAN DIVISION ONE SOUTH
Folkestone Invicta v Met Police
Heavy rain saw Invicta's trip to Croydon postponed on Saturday and Worthing seized their opportunity to go three points clear at the top.
With the leaders not in action until Wednesday, Invicta can reclaim top spot with a five-goal win but the Met are a tough nut to crack, having held Ramsgate to a 1-1 draw at the weekend.
Sittingbourne v Dulwich Hamlet
The weather also ruined Gary Abbott’s weekend as his Brickies side travelled to Surrey only to be turned away with Godalming Town’s pitch waterlogged.
Abbott has a fully-fit squad to pick from and although Tom Bradbrook returns after suspension, Elie Kayembe will continue up front in a 4-3-3 system.
Whyteleafe v Chatham Town
The Chats have taken just one point from their last two matches but on the road their form is better, with Eastbourne and high-flying Walton & Hersham both put to the sword in recent weeks.
Whyteleafe have found some form of their own, racking up eight goals in victories over Horsham YMCA and Carshalton Athletic before Saturday’s game before going down 1-0 to leaders Worthing on Saturday.
FA VASE SECOND ROUND
Badshot Lea v Faversham Town
Justin Luchford’s side make their second journey to Surrey in three days after the tie was rained off at the first attempt on Saturday.
Farnborough’s Cherrywood Road ground plays host to a game which could see the Lilywhites, storming the Kent League, reach the third round for only the second time.
Beckenham Town v Carterton
Beckenham go into tonight’s game on the back of three straight wins, while Carterton’s cup exploits have seen them slip to third-bottom in the Hellenic League Premier Division.
The hosts reached the fourth round in 1980-81 but have not been beyond this stage of the competition since.
