A special service is being held to celebrate the life of a teenager who drowned in a Canterbury pond.

Hugo Wenn, 17, was found dead in Reed Pond last month. Later the same day, the body of 25-year-old Daniel Lloyd was found.

A post-mortem found the pair had drowned.

A service is being held to celebrate the life of Hugo at St John’s The Baptist Church in Barham, where he lived, from 3.15pm on Thursday, February 23.

Both men were buskers and well known on the Canterbury street music scene.

A 28-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of supplying controlled drugs in connection to the investigation.

Police are awaiting toxicology results.
